First, manipulate intensity, coloration and continuity of lighting. Want to think and feel like Abraham Lincoln (or his simulacrum)? Create the lighting conditions which surrounded his life. Second is sound. These are part of a continuum of frequency which translate directly by way of the human bio-mechanical operating system into states of consciousness and emotional gratification. Listen to some John Williams scores to see what I mean. Burn some candles in your bedroom. Look at the color of light they give off, the way they flicker. Blow them out. Then look at your computer screen. What color light does that radiate into the darkness of a room? What about a television? Fluorescent light bulb? Incandescent lights? The sun. Grow lights. I used to think light therapy was a crock of shit.
The redefinition of words is done be associating different emotions and symbols with the word than were intended. […] The way to redefine a word is to get the new definition repeated as often as possible.
As your parity rating with consensciousness begins to dip, you may experience temporary or prolonged states of panic. This is perfectly normal. The easiest way to solve it is to find a new center of consensciousness - which for the purposes of clarity we'll call a "subculture." You'll know you have identified a new center when you start hearing words you've never heard before. How do these words make you feel? Don't bother with what they mean. Words don't mean anything. They are simply daisy-chained states of emotional consciousness which have been partially reified as thick air for ease of manipulation.
London-based Europa International is running what is thought to be the world's first lottery for cosmetic surgery.
For the price of a 1.50 pound ($2.90) text message or phone call, winners of the monthly draw will receive 6,000 pounds toward the cost of the surgery of their choice.
John Babbage, the co-founder of Europa International, said it is not much different from reality television shows that offer cosmetic surgery to contestants.
I want to make a recording of all the typical sounds I make during the day. Completely. From start to finish. Everything from eating to walking to scratching, pissing, heartbeat, everything else. A complete sonic profile (talking would of course be included). I think I would probably find something interesting. Except it would then take me all day to listen to it and while I was listening to it, I would have to neglect all the sounds I was making on the day that I was listening to it. Unless I could somehow capture the sound of myself listening to the sounds I made the day before. And then on and on like that for the rest of my day. Every day listening to the sounds I made the day before and recording the sounds I made as I was doing that.
The Matrix movies were made by Scientologists. I'm really interested in re-capturing the feeling of being a kid inside of a fortress made out of blankets, reading comic books by an old flash-light. Come and join me on that quest!
Listen to the tonal quality of old audio tapes versus an old record player versus a CD player versus an mp3 file. Turn it up very loud. These are the changes within our collective consciousness that have been foisted on us. It has little to do with politics, current events or anything else. It has to do with media formats. Also consider the lag time between when companies create a new media format and then when they roll it out in a new layer of consensciousness and find ways to force everyone to adopt them.
They want everyone at all times to feel like they are in a television show.
Item #5 makes it a crime to interpret Hubbard's writings for another person. That's the real meaning of "verbal tech''. The critical point here is that it's been cleverly slipped in among a set of much more clearly objectionable acts, so that the reader is not given a chance to notice what's really going on.
Because they are.
The RIAA and the MPAA and their crazy non-sensical lawsuits. What are they really after here? They say they are protecting their industries and their "artists" right? Wrong. They are creating the positive and negative poles of a public debate which everyone then gets sucked into and along which we all align ourselves. Are you for free downloading of media or do you buy your music through iTunes and other approved outlets? Either way, you've bought into the more fundamental paradigm shift: digitizing your media (I mean reality-enforcement propaganda) collection. Get ready for another upgrade with Blu-Ray, which has already failed. Zune, which has already failed. Wii, which will go all the way. Ever wonder why computer viruses evolved around the same time as the field of memetics?
The only difference is that we are now being allowed to turn around and talk to the cameras which have been tracking us for years.
Ancient civilizations formed around bodies of water, typically lakes, rivers and the seaside. Modern cultures will form and reform around data-streams, ley lines of information, lines of best fit, network nodes. The semantic web. Line of sight from my house to yours. Who is broadcasting your carrier signal? How can you boost it? Meatspace = meetspace. It's where we all materialize in order to dock ports and exchange hard-coded information which has a much greater bandwidth and encryption capabilities.
Maintain your regular dosing schedule. Do not double. What do you think a computer virus really is?
In certain Native American mythical systems, they talk about a central point from which the human race issued forth from beneath the earth. Supposedly they lived in another world before this which they had to leave behind. Are they talking about uploading their consciousness? Are you talking about uploading your consciousness? One day when we are all living in SecondLife-MySpace-YouTube (SecondSpaceTube we will call it, instead of "Earth"), we will all look back to a central creation myth which explains why we chose to abandon our physical bodies and live in a "virtual paradise." There may even be a point at the center of our world, The SecondSpaceTube Tower of Twin Babel, which we all talk about having climbed down from God, when he threw us out and scattered our languages across the face of the earth. The "alien control system" Jacques Vallee talks about may be nothing more than our previous world versions of ourselves trying to contact their avatars in SecondSpaceTube to wake them up to the physics engine which is operational here.
I can't wait to see this movie, every clip has had me lauging out loud.
Up the street from me, there is a beautiful orange 1972 Scout made by International which I'd like to buy. Unfortunately, I haven't accumulated enough Linden Dollars to be able to afford to exchange with the person who programmed this particular piece of thickware.
In 1872, Jules Verne wrote a story about "people importing." The fictional term he used for it was "hnttauc" as in where people would exclaim, "I'm hnttauc!"
The thing you need to learn about symbols is that they are not ever supposed to be transformed into words. They don't work like that and doing it degrades the potency of their meaning into oblivion. Think of them as a picture language. Lay them end to end, let one flow into the next. Think of them as holographic matrix connection points in hyperdimensional space. When you can "speak" that pictoral language, then you'll be able to decode what the degraded linguistic structures are which emerge off them in waves of mutilation.
The captain of each ship must find their own Neo.
Time in writing doesn't work the way our regular type of time works. You can sequence things any way you want and if the person is in the right frame of mind (they and you have a high parity rating) then they will string the pieces together appropriately. The only reason certain types of sequential formulae exist within writing is so that we can entrance one another into a fairly common system of emotional consciousness. If I write something in a very ordinary style, where it is straight-forward and sequenced in a way that you understand, then it's likely to activate certain pattern-centers in your mind which contain culturally acceptable meaning-stores. If I start to screw with that, I force you out of normal patterns and begin forging new patterns.
The key to changing reality is to start making up words and see how many people start using them. But it's not just words. It's word-patterns. Do you want to see what a Matrix control point looks like? They are publicly available. Beware though as they are also tracking infected nodes.
We are not selling this. We are not marketing ourselves or attempting to make the D.o.S. appear as something that it is not. We are not legitimizing our language games. We are living (or trying to live) according to some ideas that we had, some concepts that we wanted to try out in the "Real world." Rather than sit around and foster notions of elitist abstractions while wasting potential creativity, we decided to try something new, something that would challenge us while enabling us to work on a project in line with our values, philosophies, aspirations, and [gasp] ideologies. We are normal people trying to do nice things, both in our own community and "other" communities outside of our small contexts.
Do your best friends have a similar way of talking as you?
Now, normally you'd think localizing software into languages — either worldwide or indigenous — would be a Good Thing, but apparently that isn't the case for the Chilean Mapuche Indians. Representing some 400,000 Mapuzugun-speaking south Chileans, Mapuche tribal leaders are pursuing a case against Microsoft for the "intellectual piracy" of releasing Windows translated in their native tongue. Granted, these people aren't exactly being forced to buy Windows or anything but you'd think Microsoft doing the legwork wouldn't arouse this kind of ire — after all, they've already supposedly translated Windows into Mohawk, Quechua and Inuktitut, among other native languages. We're not so sure we'd be so fast to take a company renowned for its storied reputation of litigiousness — like Microsoft, for example — to court over translating software (or a book, or a movie, etc.) into a somewhat obscure tongue, but hey, just think of what all those Gates bucks can do for your local tribe.
Beware when you start pulling out the tent-stakes in the circus of reality. It is likely to blow away when a strong gust of wind hits. All products are generic. Everything is either a sweater or a clock or a vibrator or a razor or a can of beer. There is no such things as brand names. All they are doing is selling you language. You're optional and interchangeable. Bill Cosby's son was assassinated to keep his father quiet. Same thing with Michael Jordan's dad.
Do you tend to pick up the speech patterns of the people you are surrounded by, as well as their emotional states? Do you share music, movies and other media with your closest friends? Why do you think this is?
Sometimes I think I understand what I am saying, but I realize that I probably do not. Chances are that you may also have a much lower parity rating with what I am saying. Or even with what you yourself are saying. Try this experiment to get a grasp on what I am talking about. I will take a paragraph from this piece and translate it via Google's translate tool into another language and then back into English again.
Guardarte when you begin to remove store-you stake in the circus of the reality. It is probable to blow far when a strong gust of the wind strikes. All the products are generic. Everything is a sweater or a clock or a vibrator or one maquinilla to shave or to be able of beer a. There are no things such as trade names. Everything what is doing is selling you language. You are optional and exchangeable. They assassinated the son of Cosby of the account to maintain its reserved father. The same thing with the papa of Michael Jordan.
Notice in that process how certain phrases and even sometimes whole sentences remain completely untouched, or are very close to their original meaning above. You can also see that it doesn't know how to re-translate back what it translated itself. Try doing this with a variety of intermediary languages. English to Spanish to English. English to Chinese to English. Arabic, Korean, etc. Each one will come out differently. I've also found that each one reveals different subtexts to what I am saying, and sometimes casts completely new meanings to it which really enhance my original intention. Also consider though that between you and I, the same process occurs. Even if you speak English. You translate what I write into your own linguistic-conceptual reality system, which accounts for a great deal of confusion and misunderstandings. You or I may have collections of experiences, emotions and states of consciousness which the other person lacks as referents. There is no way around this. But the thing about inventing words and creating new language patterns is that if it is done correctly, you can open up those spaces within the other person, or at least an encoded approximation of their potentiality. That's what I've been trying to do here, in case anyone has been wondering.
Do you feel bad for this robot? Why would an ethnic tribe want to protect their language from translation by Microsoft? Hint: it's got nothing to do with money.
